Waikoloa sunset
Three of our six days were in the Waikoloa area.







Marriott Waikoloa buildings around restaurant
Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort & Spa is a huge resort complex. It has multiple buildings and pools, plus a huge beach which is unusual for this area which has lava rocks along most of the coast.

Waikoloa Anchialine Pond
The lava coastline is dotted with these ponds called anchialine ponds with their own unique ecosystem. The Marriott property has some of the largest ones. This pond is near the Hilton.
