We put on 2 line dance workshops "under the sails" at Canada Place in downtown Vancouver. There could not have been more people in the hall at each of the 2 workshops where at least 600 new and experienced dancers enjoyed two 45-minute sessions of line dance instruction, one workshop in the morning and another in the late afternoon.
There were even some dancers from Australia and the U.K. with whom we had a chat.
This is where the dance "Canadian Stroll" had it's debut.
Champion line dancer Grant Gadbois assisted with the dance demos.
Our Canada hockey jerseys & cowboy hats were a big hit with the friendly crowds all day!
